Stories from the World is a collection of new fairy tales, by Gordon Atkinson.

Long ago, Turtle found a magic bowl with wisdom on its inside and outside. He took the bowl home and began a quest to discover the name of the World, which is a sacred and hidden secret. As punishment, the bowl was placed upon his back, so that he could only see the wisdom on the inside.

In this way, the Old Ones made sure that Tortugo would not grow too wise and discover the name of the World.

Stories from the World are tiny fairy tale moments, sprinkled up and down the timeline of a magical place known only as the World.

There are six completed fairy tales in this series. Below are the first three. The next three will be online sometime early in 2027. I am working on our Christmas issues now, so the fairy tales will have to wait until the first of next year.
