Voice Agency Comics is my attempt to repackage the best of my life’s writing in a format that my grandchildren might enjoy someday. That’s sort of the reason behind this, but also I just kind of want to do it. I don’t know why. I tend to follow my instincts with writing, so there you go. I’m in the comics making business now I guess.
Voice Agency Comics Issues 1-6 have been completed as proof-of-concept drafts. I laid them out in a simple program for screen viewing only. They are early drafts and not ready for print, publication, or serious dissemination.
What you may do with these comics:
Anything you like EXCEPT for the one thing I will mention in the next paragraph. They’re free comics. Read them. Download them. Send them to all your friends. PRINT copies if you like and carry them around in a little satchel like you’re in a religious cult. Seriously, anything you want except for the one thing which, as I said, I mention in the next paragraph.
What you may NOT do with these comics:
You may not upload them to a website. It is my desire that the official pdf files for Voice Agency Comics exist only on this website. Just send people here for the free comics, is all I ask.
What is my plan for these comics?
I am currently looking for visual artists to create graphic packages for Voice Agency issues. Once an artist has created the graphic scaffolding for the literature, that issue will go on sale at Voice Agency Comics. At that point I’ll see if I can sell some comics. I’m still working out my business model, but I would like the visual artists to receive 80% of the money that comes from the sale of that comic book. I have more detailed plans, but that’s enough for now.
I do intend to reformat these initial issues more seriously with a view to printing them, but that’s down the road a bit.
However you found this website, you are free to read the concept issues, in which I served as art director, using professional Gemini and Chat GPT chats to create the covers and illustrations.
